Hello to all,

I'm writing because I'd like for you to meet some wonderful military friends!!!!! The Sierts!

These are friends that we met at Holloman Air Force Base, in New Mexico. Linda, Ward, and Kara now live in England. Kara is adopted, and when we first met them 8 years ago we had just decided to adopt ourselves. Linda became such a huge source of help and knowledge in helping us through the adoption process. She was a WONDERFUL support with our journey to get Denver, and we've stayed in close contact ever since. Linda also Homeschools Kara.

I'm sending you this article that Linda sent out today -- it's from the newspaper in England where Kara was featured on the front page.

Exactly one year ago Kara, their only child, was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 10. Kara has a God-given writing talent that excels any skills most have seen at her age! She's just recovering from her last round of Chemotherapy, and she's already sold over 300 copies!! Isn't that fantastic???!!!!! :0)

I'm sending this article to you because I'm thinking as everyone starts to do their Christmas shopping that they might want to consider Kara's book as a gift. We own two copies at our house, and they are both very worn! :) All of our kids LOVE Kara's chapter book -- it's great for all ages -- even our 13 year old, Bethany, loves it and couldn't put it down until she had read the whole thing! :0)

Most of the stories have a Christian theme, and Kara's writing ability will amaze you -- I promise!! Both Bethany and myself have written a book review on Amazon.com.
